As the General Manager at BioCifer, Glenda is focused on building and leading the execution of BioCifer’s strategic design including the commercialisation of our novel diagnostic technologies. She brings over 30 years’ experience across the not-for-profit, diagnostic, healthcare, medical research, and the pharmaceutical commercial sectors.
Glenda’s career highlights include working in QML Pathology’s Immunology Department where she implemented ISO9001 accreditation and successfully pioneered the first Queensland-based “Central Laboratory” with capacity to service international clinical trials. Whilst working with the Lung Foundation Australia, she established a four-year strategy that saw the Foundation’s annual research investment grow from $875,000 to $5million. At Roche Foundation Medicine, she effectively launched FoundationOne, a suite of comprehensive genomic profiling assay’s, within Territory and engaged healthcare professionals to build a greater understanding of an emerging environment of personalised healthcare and cancer genomics.
Glenda holds an Executive Master of Business and Administration (EMBA) from the Queensland University of Technology, a Diploma in Clinical Trials Management from the University of Canberra, and a Medical Laboratory Technician degree from the Central Queensland University.
